Bannockburn Drinking window Pinot Noir 2014 Raymond Chan Review

Mt Difficulty Bannockburn Central Otago Pinot Noir 2014 Dark, deep ruby-red colour with good depth, and lighter purple hues on the rim. The nose is soft and full, the fruit expression a little restrained, showing gentle layers of dark red cherry and berry fruit entwined with dried thyme herbs, red florals and subtle nutty notes.The aromatics grow in volume in the glass. Medium-bodied, the flavours are subtly and harmoniously melded with red cherry and berry fruit, thyme herbs and nuts, the flavours with sweetness and richness, supported and balanced by fine-grained, flowery tannins.
